In case of emergency, please call your attending doctor; the mobile phone number can be found on the back of your therapy sheet.
When will I receive the results of my blood test?: If the blood sample has been taken before 12:00 noon, you will usually receive a call about your findings until 6:00 p.m. on the same day.
In some special cases, e.g. genetic blood analysis, the examination may take several days or weeks.
When is the first ultrasound examination after my positive pregnancy test?: Generally, we perform the first ultrasound after a positive pregnancy test in the 7th week of pregnancy or after consultation with your attending doctor. From this point on, it is likely that we can detect a positive heartbeat.
How often do I have to come for blood tests after my positive pregnancy test?: We offer weekly blood checks until approximately the 12th week of pregnancy. This is usually determined by your attending doctor.
I need a prescription. How do I get it?: Please send an email with your prescription request to

Note for patients with statutory health insurance:
As of January 1st 2024, we are obliged to issue electronic prescriptions (e-prescriptions).
You will need your health card or the Gematik e-prescription app to redeem prescriptions at the pharmacy. A paper printout is only provided in exceptional cases and may involve longer waiting times at the practice.
Due to the change in practice procedures, we would ask you to make your prescription requests in good time. We usually need one day to issue them. The e-prescription will be made available to you electronically, a visit to the practice is not necessary. If you use the Gematik e-prescription app, you can see for yourself whether your prescription is ready.

You can of course also contact your established gynaecologist at any time. In urgent emergencies, you also have the option of contacting your attending doctor at the mobile phone number listed on the back of your therapy sheet.
Can I receive a video of the time-lapse recordings of my embryo?: Many patients wish to receive a time-lapse recording of the development of their embryo. After a positive pregnancy test, we will be happy to provide you with the video on request. To place your request, please send an email to
FCH-Sprechstunde@amedes-group.com
Please understand that it may take up to four weeks to process your request and refrain from making further enquiries.
Can I know the score of my embryo?: We use a complex scoring system to evaluate the embryos. Various factors are included in the scoring, such as morphology, cell movement, or possibly a PBD result. Since someone who does not work in our laboratory cannot interpret these scores, we do not communicate them.
