My first visit

How do I get an appointment for my first visit?: Please send us an email using our contact form or call us at

What do I need to do before I come to the initial consultation?: It is necessary that you fill in certain forms in advance: the registration form and the medical history questionnaire. You can find these in the download area of our homepage.
We also need your medical findings in advance. This enables us to check the documents, ensure complete and timely processing and prepare your file perfectly for your first appointment.

If you are submitting your medical files by e-mail, please send us a coherent PDF and not individual pages.
Do I need a referral slip?: Yes, a referral slip from your gynaecologist/urologist or family doctor is always required for the initial consultation in our practice. For subsequent appointments, it is sufficient to have your insurance card scanned.
Can I attend my initial appointment by telephone or online?: No, that is not possible. Initial consultations always take place on site at the FCH.
Does my partner have to come along for the first visit?: Yes, for the initial consultation for a couple's treatment, please bring your partner to the appointment.
I cannot attend a counselling appointment. How far in advance do I have to cancel?: We ask you to cancel your appointment at least two working days in advance if you have arranged an initial consultation or would like a new consultation after you have not been to the FCH for more than a year.

Can I be treated at FCH even though I live far away?: Even if you live relatively far away from Hamburg, it is possible to have your treatment at the FCH.
Can I also be treated by you as a single woman?: Single women can also come to us for treatment. If you have any questions, please contact using our contact form.
Do you also offer polar body diagnostics (PBD) or pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD)?: We offer both polar body diagnostics and pre-implantation genetic diagnosis. Further information can be found on our homepage (PBD, PGD).
How can I find out about the costs of the various treatments?: Information on the costs of various treatments can be found on our homepage, or you can contact our billing office by e-mail.
Will I always be treated by the same doctor?: During your entire treatment, you will be treated by the doctor who conducted the initial consultation with you. If this doctor is not available, another doctor can take over the treatment on his/her behalf if you wish.
What parking facilities are available?: Unfortunately, we do not have parking spaces for our patients. Please use public transportation or the parking garages at MediaMarkt Tech Village and Europapassage, see also here.
